Richmond, Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen Hiking Trails

Hiking Regions > Richmond and Delta

Welcome to the Richmond and Delta  region of Vancouver. This includes communities such as Steveston, Tsawwassen, North Delta and Ladner.

This low elevation area situated at the mouth of the Fraser River is mostly popular for brisk walks and bike rides along the Richmond and Ladner (South Delta) dikes. Instead of rich and dense West Coast trees like you find in other regions such as the North Shore or Golden Ears, you will find open marsh land, the ocean, fresh air and various species of migratory birds among other spectacular wildlife.
