Not until you've strapped into snowshoes out to the viewpoint on Dog Mountain, had a beer on a patio atop Grouse Mountain after huffing past sweaty, jeans clad tourists up 2900 steps, jogged around Stanley Park, walked along the sandy, pebble and shell-laden Foreshore Trail past Wreck Beach; and finally, battled for the last parking spot in Deep Cove before hiking out to Quarry Rock to have a sandwich with the best of them.
