Trail Map

Located just north of Vancouver, BC; the well known Baden Powell trail is named after Lord Baden-Powell in honor of British Columbia's 100th anniversary as a Canadian province. The Baden Powell trail traverses the North Shore from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver, the Capilano River and Cleveland Dam to Deep Cove in North Vancouver. If you plan on hiking the whole trail, prepare for a full day hike. For a real quick leg workout, jump on the trail heading west at the Lynn Valley Regional Park -- You will know when you get there. Be sure to check out the downloadable Baden Powell trail map for GPS devices!

Incredible Trail! Lots of diverse grades and terrain. Beautiful spots to spot and have a chat or a rest. Usually a bit of traffic but nice early mornings for a quiet hike, watch out for dog walkers as there are about 40 in the North Shore and between Grouse and Fromme is heavily travelled by them.
