Trail Description
The Fraser Valley's popular alternative to the Grouse Grind. The Abby Grind, is the first segment of the Glen Ryder trail to the first viewpoint. It is a steep hike through Sumas Mountain Regional Park and is easily accessible just west of the No. 3 Road exit off Highway 1.

The Abby Grind is a comparable workout to North Vancouver's Grouse Grind -- albeit about a third less distance and just over half of the ascent.
