Trail Description
The Grouse Grind is Metro Vancouver's world famous test of endurance. Uniquely, the Grind is also one of a few trails with a restaurant at the peak and a gondola for the return trip. Hike for the work out, then stay for the view and a drink. At 2.9 kilometers in length with an average incline over 30°, the trail is consistantly uphill and unrelenting with a mix of wood steps and steep rock ledges. The average hiker takes an hour to an hour and a half to complete.
