Trail Description
A relatively moderate and easily accessed trail in Northeast Coquitlam. Great for trail running, mountain biking or walking a dog.

Loop around Westwood Plateau through Ridge Park in Coquitlam. The trail offers views in all directions, Eagle Ridge to the north west, north to Coquitlam Lake nested between Eagle Mountain and Burke Mountain, and southeast into the Fraser Valley all the way to Mount Baker.

The development of the trail resulted from the construction of the Westwood Plateau subdivision in the early 1990's. Just east of the trail is land once used for the Westwood Racetrack from 1959 to 1990.

While the trail itself is relatively flat, access on the connecting trails is fairly steep in some areas. During the winter, the surrounding roads may be covered in snow with parking restrictions, while the trail itself is likely bare due to the heavy tree cover.
